Gentle Words is a business I set up when becoming a Marriage Celebrant in 2013.  My name is Kersten Gentle and I live in the beautiful Yarra Valley.

 

I became a wedding celebrant after a friend's son approached me and asked me to do the training so I could marry him and his fiance.  It was a huge honour to be asked and I thought 'why not'?  

 

It is the most rewarding job I have ever had, helping two people who are in love, create a unique ceremony that reflects them as a couple for their special day.

 

Personally I have been married for over 28 years and love my married life.  I have three adult children and have always been involved in my local community and I see this as an extension of that role
